A percentage of the salary that is paid through the delivery of goods other than money. Spanish law prohibits in-kind remuneration from exceeding 30% of the total salary amount. Until 2013, in-kind remuneration in Spain was exempt from Social Security contributions, allowing remuneration concepts such as restaurant vouchers or daycare checks to be widely used in company remuneration policies.
